Anthony Walker
I am a PhD student in the Mechanical Engineering department at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. My research interests include advanced manufacturing systems, mobile robotics, mechatronic systems and control engineering. I am also interested in next generation manufacturing management systems for Mass Customisation Manufacturing.
I wish to pursue an academic career in the research and development of production operations, capable of providing the necessary capabilities to uphold batch-of-one production through Mass Customisation and Personalisation. I intend on completing my PhD, in a research field associated with Mass Customisation Manufacturing, before 2011.
