I am a PhD Candidate in Democritus University of Thrace, School of Engineering, Department of Production Engineering & Management in Hellenic Republic. My research activity mostly focuses on Mass Customization and Open Innovation. My previous research field for my Dip. Eng. was relative to Agile Manufacturing and the Lean Philosophy, methodologies and tools. I try to combine them with new technologies and systems (IT, configurators, algorithms e.t.c.) in order to develop a flexible manufacturing system strong enough for Mass Customization.
