"In general, too little use is made of the advantage that all people are different."
This claim of a mass customization entrepreneur perfectly summarizes the idea of the MCPC 2009 conference: Regarding heterogeneities in a market not as a threat, but as a business opportunity.
I invite you to join us at the 2009 Conference on Mass Customization & Personalization (MCPC 2009). From Oct 4, hundreds of the world's leading managers, entrepreneurs, researchers, authors, technology providers, and personalization enthusiasts will meet in Helsinki, Finland, to discuss all things custom, personal, and individualized (Helsinki, October 4th – 8th, 2009).
For all conference information, please head to www.mcpc2009.com
The program contains all topics relevant to build a truly customer centric enterprise! There are sessions on personalization and mass match making in large scales, co-design toolkits, custom manufacturing, open innovation, product design, service design, customer co-creation, customization value, customization communities, product family design, MC supply chains, and again many case studies, often presented by the company’s founder or CEO.
There's no better place to meet the people looking ahead to the future of customization, personalization, and user co-creation. The MCPC 2009 is a multi-track conference featuring a unique combination of high profile keynotes with expert talks, panel discussions, interactive sessions, workshops, receptions, and much more. The format is fast-paced, with 150+ speakers during the conference.
But there is even more: A special Business Seminar with keynotes from B. Jospeh Pine (Author of "Mass Customization" and "The Experience Economy") and many top executives from industry will provide a focused management-view on customization, co-creation, and creativity.
The conference will be followed by a real innovation: An entire day of "Labs", which offer you the unique opportunity to work one day with a smaller group of likeminded people on one dedicated topic. Labs are taking place in different non-conventional spaces in Helsinki (and there is no extra fee to join!)
For all further information and registration, please head to conference web site: http://www.mcpc2009.com
We tried to keep conference fees as low as possible to make the conference visit realistic in these tough times. Also, Hotels in Helsinki have very good rates at this time of the year, and Helsinki is served by many European low-cost airlines.
We would be delighted if you find this event interesting and would join us this year (again) for the MCPC 2009.
Yours, Frank Piller
MCPC 2007 Program Co-Chair
PS: Online registration for the conference ends at the end of September (http://www.mcpc2009.com)!
